I like coming to Norman because Megan lets me sleep in her bed all day when I’m hungover and then brings me Gatorade and a bean burrito.

We watch the long version of Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy) and fall asleep before Elizabeth finds out that Mr. Darcy IS a good man.

We make pancakes and coffee and then we go to Growl to read (her) and “network”/blog (me) and I feel uncomfortable around the 4-person tables that house one person who drinks an Americano and plays on their iPhone and Macbook (but who am I to talk?). The music is just terrible - flute and tambourine rhythms with the occasional tabla thrown in, and the hipsters behind the counter judge me when I don’t order a $4 shot of coffee and go for the free water instead. This is one thing I do not miss about college. The thing is, the hipsters behind the bar at this college coffee shop are all in their late 20s (I know because I knew them when I was a freshman). A man wearing white sunglasses and designer jeans walks in and the bearded hipster scowls. This is one thing I do not like about Norman.
